Excellent location. The room was average for a 4 star hotel. I like my rooms very dark ata night and the light from the street would come in through the drapes. The room faced the street and was noisy. Breakfast was ok.

The location is ideal - right in the centre of the medaeival part of Cordoba. However I would not recommend it for several reasons.

Firstly they charge €10 per device, per day for wifi in the rooms, even though they offer it free (30 minutes at a time) in the lobby.

Secondly, the public rooms were not heated properly which meant wearing a coat for breakfast!

Thirdly, the number if things malfunctioning in the bathroom was unacceptable.

Finally, the service was grumpy and uncaring.

Lovely hotel with staff who are ready to accomodate (if you speak a little spanish). We asked for coffee making facilities (not the norm even in good hotels in Spain) and we were furnished with same. This hotel is perfectly located in very central position and it astounds me that some reviewers are suprised they have to pay for parking. Obviously they dont hail from a city centre. Definately would recommend this hotel for service and accomodation. And its location. Would say, very difficult to find and the map they provide is v poor.

After eventually finding the hotel (we asked the extremely helpful police for directions) we parked in the square outside while we went and checked in. The check in process took and long time for no apparent reason and was conducted mostly in English because we only have a very basic grasp of Spanish. When it came to explaining about the car park the receptionist switched to Spanish and seemed to be asking us if it was ok for the porter to drive the car underground to the car park which we agreed to. When we came to check out the next day we were shocked to discover that we had incurred a 19 euro car park fee. There is no mention of any charge on the website or lastminute.com (who we booked through). The receptionist was adament she had told us but the only time she could have done was when she'd switched to Spanish during the check in process. She also said that there is a sign downstairs in the car park detailing the charge but because the porter had driven the car, there is no way we would have seen it. It seemed a sneaky and underhand way to squeeze extra money out of us. The rest of the stay was good. The room was large and comfortable and the hotel was excellently located. Sadly though we have a bitter taste in our mouths about the extra charge and the way we were charged.
