Value for money, if you pay around 55 euros for a double (without breakfast) is the best you can say about the hotel. Trip is the low-key brand of spanish hotel chain Melia, and far from its quality standards, is more a low-medium-budget choice. Location is not bad, 15 minutes walking to "la Mezquita", Cordoba's Cathedral and best known momument. Rooms are small, decorated in an 80's style that doesn't met more contemporary standards with blue carpets and plain wooden pieces of furniture, "videts" and bathtubs in the bathroom, and a general feeling of a total revamp needed. Lobby is rather "kish", elevators old and, overall you don't leave as feeling like comming over in the short future.

Good location. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. The receptionist actually came out and made sure we were parked in a correct place. Parking was a problem but we were lucky and you don't need a car to visit this wonderful city. Room nice though not large and air conditioning was good as it was 34%C while we were there. Buffet breakfast was excellent. We would certainly come back to this hotel.

This was a very comfortable, well appointed hotel at an excellent price well situated in the town. Breakfast was very expensive and we went to a cafe instead for a fraction of the cost.

Liiked the hotel, good location very near the train station, and very helpful staff.

Check before you book that the swimming pool is open - we went upstairs with our cossies only to find a heap of rubble where the pool was! Maybe they are re-building it, but they should make this clear on their Expedia site, as this was the reason we booked the hotel, and we were a bit disapointed.
