We chose the Indalo for a two night stop-over on our way to a holiday in Mojacar. We benefitted from a special winter offer rate which was particularly good value. We arrived late but were still given the choice of a double or twin room. The receptionist said doubles offered a "big bed" and indeed it was - 2 metres square and very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Enjoyed a snack in a large well-appointed lounge. True the hotel is on a busy road junction (we had difficulty in finding it at night but this is due to shortcomings in Spanish road signing) but double glazing ensured we were not disturbed by noise. Only drawback was that the hotel does not seem to offer a "proper" dinner every night so we had to go out and search for a restaurant on our second night and the choice locally is limited. Very up-market shopping mall just up the road.
We would use this hotel again.

My family and I have now used the Tryp on two occasions as the final stop off before flying home to UK. It is very well located for the airport about 10 mins drive on new roads.

If you book on the internet rooms are excellent value with a buffett breakfast.

The rooms are very modern, wood floors and massive bathrooms. All are very clean and well equipped.
We have used the bars and restauants in the hotel again well serviced amenable staff and a good selection.
It is only a short, safe walk to town centre, Carrefour and the Med Centre.
Only drawback is no pool or leisure facilites, the underground car park is an experience on its own but you do mot always need it, road parking outside is good.

We would recommemd this hotel and will be using again soon.

We flew to Almeria courtesy of Ryanair cheapie flights and stayed 3 nights early Feb. 05 in the Tryp. Situated right at the crossroads of 5 major road junctions, the hotel has marvelous views of the eternal yet highly entertaining traffic chaos below. Double glazed windows just about kept out the worst of the continual horn blaring and whistle blowing during rush hour traffic. Hotel itself was superb - wonderful gourmet meals in their restaurant but was a 20 minute walk into town. We used the local buses - to and from airport and into town which stopped very close to hotel. Apart from the Alcazabar which was a good half day spent, nothing else to see. Busy, working port with monstrosity of ironworks which was old mineral loading docks dominating the seafront.
