Stayed here for 2 nights while traveling along the Spanish coast. A bit of confusion when we checked in over pre-booked car booking, had to leave car on pavement outside. View from room was good, room was clean and comfortable, location of hotel is good to see the town and access to beach.

The bar and restaurant were dead and bored, a bit like the staff. The pool is small with only 4 loungers, so didn't bother with it. Light on balcony didn't work and English speaking channel was frozen. I mentioned these at reception expecting them to be repaired. They weren't.

This, along with a grotty, grafitti filled and smelly Almeria, I wouldn't recommend a visit.

Great position and a room with a view. Hotel was clean but stair area needs to be improved with dirty trays left in the stair area. Lifts are small and slow. Staff were very helpful. Free wifi

We stayed 5 nights in May and were quite satisfied. Good location and full service. Room was comfortable and clean with a nice view of the Med. Only complaint was the wait staff at breakfast really couldn't keep up. Most mornings all the tables were dirty and needed to be set up before we could be seated. One morning we had to look for someone to give our room number to before we could finish-up. Also the bar had a very limited assortment of booze. Pleasant staff, though. We feel if you are 4 stars, service needs to be consistent, not good one day and lacking the next.. All in all a good value and experience

Stayed here for the night before flying back to the UK, wanting to have a quick look round the city.
The balconies - with view over the harbour - along with comfortable beds and big bathrooms are the plus points. There are, unfortunately, several minuses.
It took a while to get checked in even though I had pre-booked and there was no one else waiting at reception. I asked for a wake-up call that never came - worrying as I had an early flight; good job I backed it up with the mobile phone.
In the room, the handle of the door to the balcony was broken so it had to be rammed shut and pulled very hard to open (and that's after I bodged a repair myself). The TV had no signal. But that didn't matter as I could listen to my neighbour's TV - as well as him/her going to the bathroom, opening drawers etc - yes, the sound insulation between rooms is like a cheap motel.
I could have complained but didn't get to try these things until 10pm and the hassle of changing room etc didn't seem worth it for one night.
Also there's no WiFi in the rooms, which is poor for a business hotel.
Overall. not a disaster but not very good either.
