Excellent option for Weimar, a nice and clean hotel with superb rooms. Breakfast and internet a bit too expensive. regarding parking it is better to opt for the public parking garage (same prices and next to each other), as the hotel garage is very small and not suitable for medium and bigger cars

One night in Weimar. The Dorint is a modern building located opposite a park quite close to the historic center.

Reception, rooms everything top class. Garage easily reachable directly from room floor.
Good breakfast with a wast choice.

Given the quality the price is good value.

We stayed in Weimar for two nights during Easter. The hotel is quite new. The rooms are decent in size and very clean - what you would expect in a Dorint. Breakfast was plentiful (they claim to have the "best breakfast in town" and we could well imagine that it is true). What we liked best about the hotel was the location: it is right at the Park and just outside of the old city, so you leave the hotel and you either turn right (to go jogging) or you turn left (and you see the back of Goethe's house). The bar is a typical hotel bar - no more, no less. We got a massage in the (small) recreation area that we liked.

Stayed 2 nights. Room clean and beds comfortable. One of the best thought out hotel rooms for a while, lots of hooks, space to spread out, cupboard space, supplies in bathroom etc. Shame was only one armchair in a twin room.
Spa has whirlpool, sauna and steam room. Not great but better than nothing!
Breakfast expensive, advise heading for fabulous cafes in Weimar: Cafe Am Frauenplan is brilliant!
Would stay here again, but note we paid only 218euros for 2 people for 2 nights. Great value. Location spot on, 7 mins walk centre but in quiet location. car parking expensive at 15 euros per 24 hours.
Weimar is great. Worth a trip to see Goethes House and Schillers House, drink coffee and people watch. Great weekend.
