Nice hotel for somewhere to stay near the castle. Not much was open in the town - we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel.

Stayed here over Christmas weekend to visit Wartburg castle and the Bach haus. Great location only a few minutes walk from the train station, but feels worlds away and certainly not a "train station" hotel. Located front and center in a beautiful square with the Nicolas church and gate. The lobby is beautiful. The staff very helpful and know a bit of English-check in and out was easy. The room was very nice, with all the usual appointments you would expect. Bathrooms are very acceptable as well. Would certainly return again. The only negative was the internet was a bit unreliable, but not the reason we were there. The restaurant was great as well! Highly recommend.

We stayed just one night at the Steigenberger Hotel Thuringer Hof and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel was very nice and the town of Eisenach was quaint and non-touristy. Wish we would have had time to explore further! Would love to go back!
