Hotel used to be a Courtyard and has now rebranded. Staff have stayed the same and apparently a major refurbishment is about to start. Rooms are well equipped and of a four star standard. Pay TV is free of charge which is pretty cool and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Though the hotel is located a little outside the towncenter you do have the amazing views onto Eisenachs Wartburg. Can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
Going away for a weekend? The courtyard Eisenach is an o.k. hotel to stay.
Mainly geared towards the business traveler, it is located in the business/factory area of the city of Eisenach. So don't be surprised to see a lot of Opel-people staying at the hotel.
The location is not top notch for an Eisenach visit, but with a car you can handle.
We went on a trip where the lodging was free but we had to pay for dinner and breakfast. The rooms were o.k.in size. The bathroom was nice, but the bed had a horrible matras (and I do not complain that easilly about a matras).
The food was very well taken care of, even though we had this offer. So the hotel scored many point to us for price/quality.
The hotel did not have a lot of amenities. But the view was o.k. and they even had a little beergarden (terrace) in front of the hotel.
The staff was businesslike friendly. And the people from the restaurant were efficient and good hosts.
When in Eisenach and with a deal like this, I would visit this hotel again.
