We went to this area of Germany, just for the heck of it. We are glad that we did. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I was 6 months pregnant at the time, and quite comfortable in the room and with the bed. It hads a refrigerator with a mini bar. The hotel is located right on the water. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the marina. There are nice walking paths that you can venture on to see the town. The hotel doesn't look like much on the outside, but you can not beat the service or food. The food was of high quality. We opted to eat there all but twice during our 4 days there. The one day we ventured out, we actually missed the hotel's fare. Our breakfast was included in the price. It had rolls, yogurt, butter, jam, hard boiled eggs, soft scrambled eggs, bacon, and coffee. I highly recommend this town and hotel to anyone who wants to go to a not so touristy place. The Denmark border was about an hour away. We went to Koling for a quick daytrip.
