We stayed for one night from 16. july 2010. We was lucky to have car park in the basement. Outside the hotel it could be some problem with parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet and cleen. Very good aircon. To connect to internet you get a connectionkit in the reseption. The breakfast was very good. About 10 min, walk to the old part of Lübeck.

This is a smallish hotel over the street from the main railway station, and about half a mile from the town centre. An attractive building, nicely furnished and absolutely spotlessly clean. Bedrooms are spacious with very nice beds and bedding and a good shower room-- maybe too minimalist for some, but to my taste.
The breakfast room is large and attractive and the food was very good.
The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.
Parking out front is a bit limited, and we had to pay 6 euro for parking under the hotel.

All in all enjoyed it a lot and a refreshing change from the often cheaply built, busy and tired 4 star chain hotel alternatives.

Just a short walk from downtown Lubeck. Right across the street from the train station. The rooms were clean and bathrooms were nice. Service was great. Breakfast buffet was very nice. You don't get bacon for breakfast very often in Europe :). It is NOT a resort, it is a small hotel with clean accomodations. Don't expect a bar or any nightlife at the hotel. But for us, it was a nice quiet stay :)

As a preliminary remark, my stay was neither business nor leisure. I do wish the travel trade would get rid of this distinction.

The hotel is well situated between the station and the old town (although I must say I was disappointed by the old town, with the famous old buildings surrounded by uninspiring shops and undistinguished architecture). Access and exit by car via the nearby roundabout is relatively easy, and I arrived early enough to secure a free parking place in front of the hotel.

Although the building is traditional, my room was newly-done up, with new decor, new furniture and furnishings, and a new shower room. The sound-proofing of the new windows was effective.

The breakfast was fine, and all the staff were attentive and friendly.
