Perfect location just outside the old city wall and opposite a city bus stop. After a fast and friendly check in we reached a room which had seen its best days. Very cold and not possible to adjust the temperature to a more decent level. We visited in December and it was about +4 C outdoors, so it would have been nice to get back home to a warm room instead of a fridge to rest in. Our room had two very small single beds, 90 cm wide, not even queen size and on top of it not comfortable at all. The bathroom was again freezing cold and very poorly designed, reminded me most of a old communist hotel bathroom with just plain white walls and nothing els. No toiletries were provided except the dispensers with soap and shower gel, a little bit less then provided in normal 4 * hotels. The dispensers were color coordinated with the walls, white. ;-) The breakfast had plenty to offer but most were not market so you had no idea what you put on your plate if you didn't stick to the stuff you already knew what it were. The hot food dishes were lukewarm on the border to cold.
Not a hotel I would return to our recommend my friends to stay at on their trips to Lubeck. I have stayed in much better hotels in this city with equally good location.
