My boyfriend and I stayed here for one week, while on holiday in the area. The hotel is clean and nice. The staff are friendly. I think you pay for what you get, I would have expected more for my money in the UK. The room we had was on the second floor (there is a lift), it was described as a superior double and was quite spacious, including a sofa, chair, desk, wardrobe and shelf unit. It had patio doors leading onto a balcony that overlooked the gardens, with some plastic chairs and a table on it, but the balcony was very overlooked by the surrounding buildings. The breakfast was good, served between 7am and 10am (although you can arrange to have breakfast earlier if required). The hotel is very close to the bus station (just across the road) and a short walk from the centre of Lubeck.

Some complaints. The room service (serving only drinks) was slow and expensive. There was no kettle in the room, so any hot drinks had to be ordered from room service. We booked online and it said that there was free wireless internet, but we were made to pay.

The hotel was a surprise! I've paid it a little bit more than usual but I got exactli what I paid for. The hotel is located in a veri good position to enjoi the loveli citi of Lubeck. We are next Holstentor and veri close to the bus station. So, if u are using the bus to come from the airport, u must know that the bus stops to the station and a few metres awai there is the hotel!Also, it is veri nice and clean and loveli inside. The room is clean, confortable: there are wardrobes, tv, armchairs and we had a little table either next to the window to relax. Also in the room there are wine and water and some little stuff (but u have to pai extra for them). When we arrived little chocolates were on the pillow, a veri warm welcomed! The breakfast room was veri nice and the breakfast buffet was big, various, good qualiti of the food and it was easi to eat what u wanted (biscuits, little cake, fruits and fruit salad, jogurt, ham cheese varieti, ani kind of cereals, eggs, juices, marmelades,breads but no toasts, milk, tea coffee). The tables were realli well prepared and coloured, it was a pleasure to go downstair for the breakfast in the morning. There is a lift in the hotel, so do not worri for the bags. The staff is nice. The onli thing that went wrong was the soap that was not replaced in the room. So please, control that when u arrived u do have it and write a paper asking to replace it if it is necessarili. The towels must be put on the floor to let them understand to wash them! Lubeck is realli nice (I prefer Bremen) and it worths!

This hotel was truly great. It had an excellent location - 3 minutes from the HBF and 10 minutes from the Holstentor. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and perfectly maintained. The proprietors were friendly and flexible (we arrived 1 day early) and breakfast was sufficient - pretty much on par with most German B&Bs. As a bonus, it was located right next to City Doner, which we thoroughly recommend for delicious Berlin-quality Doner Kebabs.

Located just outside the old town, but just 2 mins from the main gate. The hotel is small, but very clean and the staff are very friendly. The room although small was spotless, with a good bathroom. Flat screen TV etc. The breakfast was good with a range of hot and cold foods on offer. Would certainly recommend for a few nights and they do some good value deals!
