You get what you pay for. The Flaemischer Hof Hotel is a budget hotel which is quite satisfactory for a few days stay. Unlike others I found the hotel staff quite friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was quite impressive the for the price paid €55 / night.
Although the hotel is at the other end of the block from the "Cinema District" this is not a problem and if you turn left out of the door and cross the road you are into the main shopping are. Visited Mango's most nights for a Coffee.
On the down side the single rooms are quite basic, there is no phone for a wake up call and no bedside light (flex was not long enough to use the desk light). The WiFi connection is free, but again you get what you pay for, to get the password you have to sign to say you will not download videos or music. I was given a range of IP addresses and had to manually set up a static IP each time I wanted to use my laptop, use trial and error to find one that is not in use by someone else.
