A one-night stopover (coming off the ferry from Klaipeda in the evening) allowed us to experinece this hotel. Not close to the centre of Kiel, but if you have a car it is close enough. The carpark isnot well sign-posted. Yoiu drive up to the boomgate at left of hotel, press the intercom, proceed to the next boomgate (on the right) which opens automatically. Yoiu need a token from reception (parking fee) to open the boom gate on exit. Free parking is available behind the hotel in the street (drive to the right side of the hotel) but is in a dark location and not secure. The variety at breakfast was the best we have seen in any hotel (although they don't cook eggs to order). The room was spacious and quiet. We were there in late autumn so the mornings were dark, however in summer I expect early morning light to be a problem, as the curtains hang well back from the window and allow full view from the bed to neighbouring buildings.
