We took a day's trip from Hamburg by train to visit the Nolde Museum.
We were not disappointed. The surroundings are lovely and wild looking.
His watercolors fabulous. The only disappointing thing was that his "Wildly Dancing Children" was not in the gallery but in the Keil Museum.....didn't get there. I was not thrilled by his oils, but that is personal only.
There is not much else to see in this rural area but if you love Nolde's like I do, the museum is a must.
