The Guesthouse-apartments is a typical "Old Stock" building, 6 floors & very spacious.
The current owner has completely refurbished inside & out, and offers 1,2 + 3 bedroom apartments.
We had a spacious hallway, lounge and bedroom. The only thing "SMALL" was the shower & toilet.
For our weekend break at the Leipzig Xmas Market, it was the perfect venue. We were self catering ( eating the street food & drinking Gluhwein), but the kitchen was well fitted with utensils if we wanted to cook.
The office "BURO" is on the 3rd floor, and although advertised as 24/7 opening hours, if you were going to be a late arrival, email beforehand. and the owner will leave your room keys in the door.
From Hauptbhanhof, take TRAM No 3, destination TAUCHA. Disembark after 6 stops @ VOLKSGARTEN, right opposite the big Garden Centre is the property.Journey time 10 minutes maximum.
A nice touch were the small chocolate bars on our bed on arrival - a bit like cruising!
(My wife & I are in the 60 year old bracket).

“More than you can expect for that price”

A nice spacious apartment with everything you can need for cooking. Free Wi-Fi worked OK .A Lidl supermarket is quite near.
The windows are new so we didn't here trains during night from a railway situated nearby. Far from the city centre. Can be recommended if you travel by car.

“Size ok but no aircon and sited on a very noisy street-avoid in summer.”

Nice friendly english speaking host. Not a good choice in summer though as the noise from the street with the windows open is diabolical 24/7. Double glazing but no air conditioning. I was very worried how we would get out if there was a fire - there were no fire escapes, no smoke alarms and no sprinkler systems. The small old deck looked very old and fragile.
The only entrance was up two flights of stairs. No lifts. Very old dilapidated building from the outside but the apartment is nice on the inside.
