Upon arrival the check in staff were all very friendly and attentive - Top Marks to them!! They are to be commended for their efficient service.

Room - What is up with a Double bed and a Single Bed Duvet??? Oh yes and ONE pillow and ONE Towel only?? - Not GOOD at all.. Not the standard that we are used too at all..

Late Check Out for long haul destinations should be allowed ie Australia, South Africa, America. Not comfortable when one needs to be out by noon but ones flight is only at 19h00!! Some concideration should be given!!

Stayed here recently during a conference, and have to say that I was disappointed with the comfort of the rooms. The beds weren't up to the normal Westin "Heavenly Bed" standard, and the pillows and blankets were completely uncomfortable. The room itself was very warm unless the window was opened, in which case it was too noisy to sleep. Housekeeping left a fair bit to be desired as well. The wifi is quite expensive, too.

The public areas, such as the gym, restaurants, bars, etc are all pretty good though, so it's certainly not all negative.

Stayed there twice while attending Expo's in Leipzig. Both times had very good positive experience. I especially would like to highlight their breakfast-excellent choice of foods all of which are very delicious! Agree with other reviews, the building exterior doesn't look particularly appealing but it's in no way a big issue. Views across the city are very good, especially at sunrise. There was one thing which surprised me a bit-while switching between TV channels I accidentally came across the one broadcasting full hard core :) Some might say it's a "nice" touch, especially so that it was FOC, but don't think that families travelling with young children will appreciate such hotel policies. Leipzig centre is close by, just 5 mins on foot and there is a large number of good restaurants and bars serving delicious food and drinks. Would recommend the hotel without hesitation for business travellers as well as for those visiting Leipzig for a short city break.

Really good luxury hotel. Beautiful lobby, very nice spa with a big swimming pool, friendly staff. Modern and comfortable rooms with amazing views on the historical city center. Standard rooms are okay, but a bit below the usual Westin standard. Try to upgrade to a Grand Deluxe Room, it's definately worth the extra money. Breakfast was probably the best I've ever had. Try the wonderful bar up on the 26th floor - certainly the best view of Leipzig you can get!
