I stayed for three nights at the Prodomo mid April 2008.
My first impression on entering the room was not good, a very basic bed and fitments and the carpeting was worn with some spillage marks in places.
Exploring the bathroom, it was small ,but very clean and everything functioned soundly, I was presently surprised by the force of the water from the shower head that ran hot with no loss of pressure.
One of my concerns in any hotel stay is peace and quiet at night and this is where the Prodomo came into its own.
Location wise the hotel is 3km from the city centre a 10 minute tram ride away, and is situated on a quiet residential street.
Although I was only on the second floor I never heard any traffic noise from the few vehicles that use the residential street and there were no distant sounds from utilities like air conditioning units or other whirring electric machines that can be the bane of a good nights sleep in the poshest of hotels.
The stay including a complimentary breakfast that offered a reasonable buffet of cold meats, cereals, cheeses, breads, spreads and coffee/tea/juice.
I found the staff to be friendly and welcoming, the receptionist was bi -lingual and helped to make the stay quite pleasant.
