The room was modern and well-equipped (but no air-conditioning). Opening window means lots and lots of noise. This place is on the main traffic artery around central Leipzig and there are trams and cars at all hours. There are a few rooms facing inwards, but as the hotel is in a horseshoe format they too are exposed to some, if less, noise.

Location - given the transport links and proximity to the Main Station - is good.

Breakfast good (although strangely as part of their healthy programme they explain to you that actually some of the things you eat are not good for you!!). Staff helpful.

we stayed at the victors for three nights. employees were very kind and nice, even though all staff at the breakfast could barely speak any other language rather than german.

the rooms were a bit smaller than i expected for a rate of 150 Euros, but what really concerned me was the lack of Air Conditioning. as the temperatures outside rose, it was extremely hot inside the room. we have found ourselves sweating and had to get to the main train station just to cool off. for this money i've paid i would expect at least some even old A/C system or at least a fan.

furthermore, the pillows were pretty small and thin. the ones you put on your sofa for decoration, not something you can really place your head on and get a good sleep.

i like visiting Germany, but sometimes i feel these guys are not ready to host tourists from all around the world. i would expect them to try harder.

the location is great, the breakfast is not bad and the charges for internet are extremely high, approx $35 USD for 24 hours!

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at The Best Western Premier Victors Residenz, and could not wish for a better service ,we managed to park our car in the hotel garage( under the hotel ) with great ease not the cheapest parking in the city @ 13 euro per day but as we were staying only 2 nights we thought it was the easest option. on arival at the hotel we were offered complimentary refreshments by the receptionist as we booked in which was most welcome, we were also given an upgraded delux room. The only complaint was that the trams were quite noisy as they travelled past right outside the hotel and you could hear them from the room if you kept the windows open. we also decided not to eat breakfast in the hotel but to walk in to the main part of town to sit outside the many cafes & enjoy breakfast in the morning sunshine there is also plenty places to eat in the main station opposit the hotel which has a small shopping centre
The plus point with this hotel was the service & the central location the rooms were large & clean & after spending the day/evening wandering aroundl leipzg you can alway return to the hotal bar for a nightcap as the bar stays open until 1am

The Hotel is directly across from the train station/Shopping mall. It's also across the street from the tourist information office. Public transportation is available directly in front of the train station, with some trams stopping in front of the Hotel itself.

The hotel is modern with all of the amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Most staff members spoke some English.

The resturant was excellent and the resturant staff exceptional. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet.

I can't understand why the hotel is not listed in some travel guides.
