The NH Leipzig Messe was built for visitors of the Messe as the name says and they have little choice. The room rates are very expensive during exhibition times and the standard of the hotel is really low. Everything is built very cheaply, the rooms are not the least bit cozy. There is a constant nose from the Autobahn (highway) which is close by. So sleep quality is poor.
Parking is always a problem at exhibition times. There is sort of a shopping mall nearby (a conglomerate of shops) so you'll be able to get the most necessary things.
The hotel restaurant is horrible, every meal I tried (because there are no alternatives, no other restaurants in this area!) tasted like some instant meal thrown into the microwave - which it probably was.
There were often problems with elevators - either they were out of order or you had to wait incredibly long for an elevator to arrive.
I really cannot recommend this hotel and I just stayed there because of lack of alternatives. And this is the only reason why guests are staying there, I'm pretty sure.
The only things which were okay were the staff which is friendly and helpful whenever they can and the breakfast which was also fairly okay.
