My family of four stayed two nights in a 4 person suite in Jul 2011. Our children are teenagers and so we normally stay in two rooms. The suite was roomy enough for the four of us, and the price was what we normally pay for a double room. The hotel itself is new and well maintained with secure parking on-site (5 euro per night). The hotel reminds me of a nice hotel along the interstate in the US. Nice, but lacking character. The neighborhood is a little iffy, and there is not a lot to see nearby. There is a Penny Markt in the same building so that was convenient, and the suite has a kitchen. It is about a 15 minute drive to the main sites of Leipzig, so I guess for the price it was worth being some distance away. This is an excellent hotel for an inexpensive weekend trip to the wonderful city of Leipzig.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this place!! The location is a little outside of town which we knew and that was fine. The room was very large, very clean and modern with a small kitchenette and 2 doors leading to an outside patio area. The beds were comfortable and the room rate was great for 5 people!! Located right next door is a Penny Market which was handy for buying some stuff for breakfast,. They do have a nice looking restaurant on property, but we chose to go downtown instead. Great place!!

Great hotel at a great price! The personnel was extremely courteous and accommodating. The rooms--apparently all apartments have two rooms, a bathroom, and a small kitchen area--are decently sized. Some rooms come with a patio--which was great! Even though the hotel is a few kilometers away from downtown, it can be reached fairly easily with public transportation (light rail and bus) or by taxi (about €12).

We stayed two nights in August, 2 adult parents and 2 adult children. It is not easy finding a hotel in Europe to accommodate such a party at a reasonable price, but this was it. We also ate at the restaurant. Found everything about it to be quite satisfactory. The only drawback was the distance from the city center. We had to drive in, but parking at the train station was inexpensive and from there everything was accessible by foot. I would certainly stay here again provided I wanted the extra space and I had transport to the city. Otherwise, I might search closer in. BTW, Leipzig is a surprisingly wonderful find if you're into Art Nouveau architecture--third only to Barcelona and Riga. It would be worth another visit--indeed, I would even consider Leipzig as a "base of operations" for a month or so to explore that area of Germany and adjoining areas of the Czech Republic.
