This hotel is surprisingly good - tucked away in the southern suburbs of Leipzig but super easy to get to, thanks to the superb trams which run nearby.

For 38 punds I got what was really a large apartment, with a little kitchen in the hall, large bedroom, large living room and nice shower in the bathroom. My room also had a balcony.

There is a restaurant in the hotel where you can have breakfast for ten euros. I didnt as there is a marvellous supermarkez next door where I bought all I needed for breakfast in the room.

Leipzig is a grat citz - laid back and hassle-free. This hotel is comfortable, very clean and the bedroom I had was wonderfully capacious.

Thew only fault I could find is that it cold do with some better TV channels as being restricted to CNN and BBC world is a bit of a bore after a while.

Overall, a real gem.

Super, clean hotel with very friendly staff and spacious accommodation. The public transport system in Leipzig is second-to-none, so the 20-minute tram ride into the city centre was hassle-free. We travelled with our 19 month-old son and found this hotel to meet our needs perfectly... the child-friendly features in the flat even included electrical socket protectors and a very convenient entrance hall in our flat for the pram. The separate living room and bedroom meant that didn't have to quietly creep around a cramped hotel room once our son was asleep. The mini-kitchen is a bit basic, but the staff were more than happy to offer a microwave, which was great with a supermarket being so nearby. The location of the hotel is quiet (ask for a room at the back!), but the views are not too great. I usually have real trouble trying to find a hotel in the UK that ticks all our boxes, but this one even exceeded our expectations!

Business hotel in outlying suburbs of Leipzig. Residential area; base of hotel includes grocery and minor shops. Rooms are huge - many windows and a kitchenette. We shopped downstairs and made meals in our room. Staff friendly; most speak english. Bus route stops outside the front door; downtown is about 15 minutes away. Free street parking. Beware of summer - even with the windows open we were uncomfortable without AC. Then again Europe had record breaking heat that week. Can be noisy - teens tend to congregate at night because of the stores and delivery/garbage trucks arrive very early in the morning. Very clean. Free local calling. Great location without the hassles of being downtown.

Good service, excellent 2-rooms appartments with mini-kitchen, that is very convinient if one wants to save money on restaurants. 15-20 minutes to the center of the city by train.
