The hotel has a perfect location in the center of charming Leipzig. Located across from the train station makes for it really convenient when arriving by rail. In addition, the staff is friendly and accommodating. There is a small gym and indoor pool in the lower level which is also a bonus, and makes for a nice start to the day. The only downside to the hotel is the expensive wireless internet charges (12 euros per day).

Great location to walk all of Leipzig city center. Stayed 3 nights without taking our car from the underground parking area. Large, modern train station is nearby, and has numerous shops and casual restaurants or fast food. There was also a post office, which was open on Sunday!

We had a lovely, comfortable room with a good bed and nice bath. Did not eat at the hotel, but desk staff were friendly and helpful. The key card secure elevators were a bit tricky during our stay and didn't always respond right away, but it was nice to have the extra security. Greatly enjoyed Leipzig and our hotel.

the hotel is very well situated opposite main railway station and within walking distance to all attractions including city centre and opera house. the railway station and public transport is unbelievable. the hotel has all the trappings of a 5 star hotel,the executive floor on the 6th floor is unbelievable with 24 hour lounge.

First of all, you only are a five minute walk from the main train station, and 5-10 from important sites like the gorgeous Nikolaikirche and the Thomaskirche, both associated with Bach. My room was nicely sized and charming, up to date but with an elegant Old world feel and I was very happy to spend three nights there, especially given the comfortable bed and decent-sized bathroom. Breakfast is what you expect in Germany from a fine hotel, not lavish but with more than enough choices to keep your palate entertained. Staff was generally quite friendly (I spoke German). Be warned: an enormous shopping center is being built across the street, and you must ask for a quiet room, ein stilles Zimmer. Even then, you mig hear some of the noise during the day if you want a nap. The downtown pedestrian area, cobblestones, is a great mix of old and new, convenient and Entertaining, with plenty of restaurants of all types to try.
