This is a nice little hotel, just next to the station, with friendly staff and refurbished rooms. It's not top-end luxury and offered good value last week, even when other hotels put their prices up during an exhibition week at the Messe. The room I had was a little hot since the hotel wasn't air conditioned.

The Gunnewig hotel is a three star hotel which is located right behind the central railway station (just a couple of minutes walk). The street itself is not the prettiest street in the world but it is only about ten minutes walk (if at all) to the town centre.

The rooms were small but clean and the staff were very friendly.

We skipped the breakfast so I cannot say how good it was.

I would stay here again as it is a reasonably-priced option in a convenient location.

Gunnewig Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten (Four Seasons) is a good hotel for the 3 stars it has and for the price. The staff was very friendly. The room I had was quite spacious. And it is very well located, at the back of the station. The view is not spectacular: a typical German street with a streetcar.
