Everything about this hotel was wonderful.The rooms were spotless and the shower was the cleanest I've ever seen! The help-yourself breakfast consisted of a variety of cereals, yoghurt, eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, fruit & juices and was superb.The hotel looks slightly dingy from the outside, but the inside is recently and very beautifully renovated; and the location is excellent - just opposite the railway station and a short walk to the old city centre. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help us. There is a computer with Internet connection for guest use in the foyer, but WiFi to our room only cost us €8 for 24 hours and was worth it. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this hotel to others.

The location is excellent, right across from the train station. The hotel has been recently renovated and while the rooms are not huge, they are well laid out, comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and a good size. There are only a few problems with the hotel. One, because of its location, it is very noisy, at least the rooms that face the street and the station. Not a problem during the winter when the windows are closed but during the warm summer months, it is difficult to sleep. Two, the front desk staff are professional but not friendly and were adament that I could not check in until 3pm. I did not try the breakfast as it was rather expensive (as was the internet access).

This is a nice little hotel, just next to the station, with friendly staff and refurbished rooms. It's not top-end luxury and offered good value last week, even when other hotels put their prices up during an exhibition week at the Messe. The room I had was a little hot since the hotel wasn't air conditioned.

The Gunnewig hotel is a three star hotel which is located right behind the central railway station (just a couple of minutes walk). The street itself is not the prettiest street in the world but it is only about ten minutes walk (if at all) to the town centre.

The rooms were small but clean and the staff were very friendly.

We skipped the breakfast so I cannot say how good it was.

I would stay here again as it is a reasonably-priced option in a convenient location.
