Enjoyed our 2 nights stay. Good location within walking distance of Augustplatz and the historic centre. Nice rooms, friendly service, good breakfaxt buffet. Lifts are small and one was out of order which made it difficult for people with luggage. Nice place to stay when you visit Leipzig.

Use this hotel for an overnight stay on my way from Hannover to Berlin. I travelled by train. The hotel is located quite far from the central station; I believe it took me 30 minutes of walking to reach the hotel. Weather was fine and I decided to walk instead of taking a taxi or tram. It is not a stone’s throw from the centre also; you need a good walk to get to the centre.

Anyhow the hotel was nice inside, room was tidy but old fashioned with not-flat TVset and outmoded furniture. I was surprised with a large glass shelf with a large choice of glasses for different drinks. Pillows were extremely soft; it was not possible to sleep with one pillow only. I asked reception for 4 more pillows and they provided them in a minute. Looked like they were familiar with such “pillow” requests. It was no free Internet in the room. However hotel has quite spacious spa zone with large Jacuzzi and Finnish sauna.

Good for an overnight stay, but not in the spot! Good walking or tram to everything interesting.

This hotel is well situated for the city centre and cultural highlights such as the Mendelssohn House, the Bach Museum and the Gewandthaus; all are within walking distance.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable with good coffee making facilities. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide choice and of good quality, frequently replenished . There is a wide variety of excellent breads.The dining room is beautifully decorated in art nouveau style and it is a pleasure to have breakfast there.

In the(very) small business centre internet access is free of charge. i found it useful to print my boarding pass for the return flight
