The hotel was in an odd location as there is nothing around it. It almost seems like its an old industrial area that has long seen its hey day. The room was nice though and it had one of the best beds and pillows I have had since being in Europe. Breakfast which was good is also included in the price. So if you like walking and saving money then its great.

It's a tram or train ride from Leipzig centre to Plagwitzer, and the post-industrial neighbourhood is rather drab, but the Plagwitzer Hof stands in its own quiet courtyard and is a pleasant place to stay. The room was comfortable (apart from the pillow which was soft and nearly vanished in use!) and the buffet breakfast was superb. Overall I thought it was excellent value and I would happily return.

I've spent 1 night in this hotel in the middle of a trip, my needs were for a place where to rest well...and here it was great!
I've chosen it because of good last-second price (28€) for a single room within breakfast.
The room wasn't big, but efficient and with comfortable bed, breakfast rich and personal very kindly (although they didn't speak any language if not German).

The hotel is located several tram stops away from the centre of the Leipzig. If you want to save money on your travel, and have a reasonable accomodation, choose this hotel. You won't get wi-fi here, or many amenities, but it's clean, bathroom in you room, and free continental breakfast. Besides hotel is very quite, and you won't get disturbed by traffic in the night
