We had a beautiful room and a good stay at the Hotel Bulow Residenz in Dresden. Our room was huge, and well appointed. We booked a double room, and paid 129 euro/night. We were welcomed with a basket of fruit, with a plate and knife with which to eat it! And we did. We had plenty of storage space for our clothes and books. Our bath was small, and awkward. We did not eat in the restaurants, and did not have breakfast here. Instead we walked to a small café on the main street.
We liked the location of this hotel, enjoyed being in the Newstadt area. We enjoyed window-shopping in all the lovely shops.
