I stayed here for a 5day conference. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful and the beds and room were clean and comfortable. The hotel was close enough to the railway station (10mins walk or take a tram) and again about 15mins walk from the Old City of Dresden.

Hotel is OK but misses the small 'plus' to make your stay a pleasure!

Location is not convenient. Tram 12 was out of order due to works in progress, hard to get to the attractions in historic town and 'neustadt'.

Breakfast was too expensive (17,5Euros).

We were on a motorcycle tour and arrived bedraggled with no reservation, so were very pleased when we were greeted with such a friendly welcome! Luckily we got a room on the 6th floor, and whilst the signage stated the hotel was currently being upgraded there was nothing noticably dated - the room and bathroom was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for an overnight stop.

The hotel has an underground car park which is a real bonus when travelling by motorbike! We were also given a very good recommendation for supper that evening by the hotel reception.

Breakfast was a lovely full spread, and we sat outside in the courtyard which was a great start to the day. I was very pleased we stayed here and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I researched this hotel on Trip Advisor before I booked a room and the only negative comment was "The pillows are too soft". True they are but apart from that everything was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.
