Sorry to go against the flow, I booked to stay here based on the reviews both here, and on Booking com. so we where disappointed with the reality.
IF YOU HAVE A CAR.....
I would suggest, if only for the breakfast alone, this is a good option, provided you get a 'quiet room' away from traffic and don't want to be able to 'wander' out of the hotel, as its a decent walk, followed by a decent tram ride to the busy areas
However, if you don't have a car, or would prefer to be close to cafes and shops, generally 'life' then I would suggest not to stay here, it is literally on a long busy (with traffic, not shops) street there is only one place to eat which is on the opposite side of the road, and owned by the hotel.
On the positive side the breakfast is great, as are the staff
The rooms are clean and functional, but appear dated, and if you are unlucky enough to get a room with a window onto the street, it is noisy.
The main areas of the hotel are indeed spotlessly clean, and as mentioned, the breakfast is great, just the location and the noise is so off putting personally.
The hotel says it has a relaxation area, which is essentially a wooden sauna and loungers with showers located in the basement.
