I stayed one night in December, right during the heart of the Dresden Christmas market season, so the city was a madhouse. The hotel was easy to find once I got oriented to Dresden. However, the parking lots in the area were completely full when I tried to park the afternoon I arrived (yes, COMPLETELY FULL). This was no doubt due to the Christmas market and the fact that all stores were open this Sunday, but still it would have been nice if the hotel(s) had reserved parking for their guests. I had to park down past the train station, and move my car later that evening.
The room was so-so. The mattress was thin and hard, and the pillows almost non-existent thin. Both pillows together made for about one normal pillow. Also, the heat in the room was a little much, but cracking a window helped. No free wi-fi. The bathroom was fine and the staff was friendly enough. The hotel is fairly close to the train station, but I didn't notice many restaurants in the immediate area.
