The hotel Lillienstein is very suitably located in the heart of the City of Dresden, just on the main shopping street, Prager Strasse. Together with two other hotels Bastei and Koenigstein it creates a typical landmark on the road from Dresden Main Railway station to the city centre, Altmarkt. The hotel was completely modernized but still keeps some residue of the atmosphere of a prestigious hotel of the former GDR, which makes the stay in the hotel more interesting. Although so close to the cite center, the hotel rooms are quiet. The hotel bar serves very well treated draught beer.

We spent 2 night in the hotel. Very nice place in the meadle of shopping street. The hotel is very night, our room was at 9th floor, very nice panorama out of the window.
10 minutes walking to reach the downtown, Dresda is very nice. Have a look at the parking rate in the open space around the hotel, 6-3.5 euro ore close area 6 euro. I strongly suggest this hotel.

Hotel was fairly central, within walking distance of the lovely architecture of the older part of town. Restaurant was not available, but others open nearby. Room clean and comfortable, fairly small. Number of lifts inadequate for size of hotel and number of floors though, and seats for breakfast rather a scrum!

This was in a great location, easy to find from the nearest autobahn, and yet close enough to town to walk in to see the great architecture.
The staff were extremely helpful and polite, above and beyond the call of duty.
The hotel room was clean and tidy, and was well laid out.
We didn't eat here so I can't rate the food, but overall the service and hotel facilities were excellent. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
