To start off with the positives, this hotel's location is wonderful; near tons of shops, dining, and only about 5 mins walk from train station. For this reason, thers's always people walking around from morning to late night. The street never get empty which makes you feel safe. Also, you can reach Dresden's main sites in just about 10 mins on foot.
Unfortunately, the good things about this hotel ends there. True, this hotel is very affordable but you do get what you paid for.. which is not a lot. The room and bath room were tiny. The bed was as hard as a table. The pillow was too soft (if you lay your head on it for about 10 mins, your head will feel the mattress). I knock a few things over since the night stand was so close to the bed. The staff there were a bit stiff. They'll answer your questions and all but they look like they don't want to be there.
In conclusion, I would not recommend this hotel. Not being able to sleep is the worse part about it. I suggest paying more for a better hotel because as much as the price looks like a bargain, its quality isn't.
