There are strong plusses and pretty strong minusses for this hotel. On the positive side, it is well located: not quite in the center of Dresden, but right by a streetcar stop that will take you downtown in a few minutes, and very close to a rail station to the airport. It is perfectly clean, very well maintained, the staff is helpful if somewhat inexperienced. Breakfast is comprehensive, as is often the case in Germany. On the negative side, the rooms are bizarre, the bathroom is lined with full-length mirrors that reminded us of our age and silhouette, the closet is hard to find, the "artwork" is questionnable. The worst part, for us, was the inability to turn down the heat. There is a control box, but it does not seem to control anything. We ended up sleeping with an open window, in a frezing december.
The free WiFi was slow but reliable.
