While accompanying my husband on an extended business trip, our family stayed at the Chemnitzer Hof in Chemnitz, Germany. The staff of both the hotel and restaurant are top-notch and always treated us fabulously. The housekeeping staff also made sure our stay was a comfortable one. The restaurant's breakfast buffet is amazing. The selections of breads, meats, cheeses and fruits are amazing. Also, the chef took special requests. If you stay, be sure to order the pancakes which are more like crepes. They are delicious. The only drawbacks I found at the hotel were that a.) the interior decor is looking a bit worn and dated and, b.) our room was next to a beautiful old church with bells that rang throughout the night. Be sure to request a room near the front of the hotel. Overall, the stay was a very enjoyable one.

Werter Gast, ich bedanke mich für Ihren Besuch im Günnewig Hotel Chemnitzer Hof. Sehr haben wir uns über Ihr positives Feedback gefreut. Wir kochen gerne für unsere Gäste und das soll man auch merken. Unser nächstes Highlith ist " Die etwas andere Weihnachstfeier" am 15. Dezember ab 18.30 Uhr. Bis Januar 2012 findet noch in den Kunstsammlungen eine bedeutende Renoir Ausstellung statt. Die Kunstsammlung ist Nach bar des Günnewig Hotel Chemnitzer Hof.
