For those expecting a Travel lodge experience, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The hotel is situated near a large park in a quiet area of Chemnitz. A 5 min walk sees one reach 3 small pubs, all of which serve appetizing German/French food at reasonable prices.

The hotel rooms are spacious and the fitness centre very good. There was free parking in front of the hotel, but this tended to get filled very fast, leaving the option of parking on the street in front or using the paid underground parking.

The best thing about the hotel were it's breakfasts. A wide variety of sumptuous food was available till 11am every day but best of all, stretched till 2pm on Sundays! Weekends also saw an addition of lunch fare, turning the event into a proper brunch at no extra cost. We certainly enjoyed the lie in!

The hotel was decent, but not fantastic. The exterior looked nicer than the interior. The carpeting throughout the hotel and in our room was a bit dated and worn. The carpet wasn't terrible, but it is time for replacement. Our room was large with a large LCD TV. The furniture was average, but the drapes were a little stained. The bathroom had a strange smell to it, but was decent otherwise. The rain showerhead was particularly nice. The parking garage was good. The breakfast buffet was average. The hotel was okay for our purposes since we were just passing through on our way home.

i stayed in this hotel for one week during a business trip. it's located in a quiet street. the distance to the city center is about 15 mins by foot. the staff isf friendly, the breakfast is excellent, the rooms are spacious and spotless but there is no minibar in the room!
