We booked this hotel because of the good price and location near the train station. We stayed here just one night to catch our flight early next day. The room was nice and quiet. The bathroom was a little old but very clean and roomy. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was simple huge and delicious.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise considering how inexpensive it was. The room was exceptionally large in comparison to other european hotels, it was very clean, and well presented.
I loved the fact that we were right in the middle of surburbia and it was so peaceful. There are two really nice restaurants an easy stroll in either direction, and the continental breakfast was great. The hotel was about a 5-10 minute cab ride from the the train station, main shopping district and Rhine. But also I nice walk if you're not in a hurry. Johannes at reception speaks fluent english and was a fantastic host. He helped us organise most of our tours before we arrived. I would certainly stay there again.

About a mile from the central train station. It was certainly not in an upscale area but as a single woman, I still felt reasonably safe. The young male manager was great - helpful and friendly.

This a small hôtel with excellent service. It is quiet, clean, rooms are made daily, the breakfast is excellent (cereails, yoghurts, juices, tee, coffee, hot chocolat, cheese, ham, excellent bread, boiled or scrambled eggs - all this on free service basis). the manager is friendly and speaks good English. The have a garage for 6€ extra; Internet wi-fi is free though I didn't check if it works.

all in all an excellent choice. the only negative point is that the hotel is not exactly in the center but is 10 minutes by foot form the central station or one stop by tram, and the public transport is zexcellent in Mainz. so definitely a good choice.
