If you are having a weekend in Mainz or there for a few days business this isn't a bad place to rest your head. It's a similar type place to Premier Inn's in the UK. The check in area was smart and the staff were efficient and had good English language skills (weren't too bad at German either :-))
The room was very clean and furnished to a decent standard. It was a double bed rather than a king size and comfortable enough, but I could foresee a fight for a share of the duvet with my dear wife if she had been there, it wasn't the biggest bed cover in the world. The room had a decent flat screen TV and tea/coffee facilities.
The bathroom was spotless with very modern and clean decor, but the towels were rather thin.
If you do decide to use this hotel and are travelling from Frankfurt airport, use the train. Taxi's are around 50 Euros, the train was less than 5 Euros and Mainz HBF (the main station) was only 400 yards from this hotel. Trains are pretty frequent from the airport but watch out for them being signed for Koblenz, this is their destination, but they go through Mainz. To find the hotel from the station, when you come up from the platform, don't exit for the city, exit (Ausgang) to the west side of the station (it's signposted Ausgang West) and when you exit the station, walk straight out past the taxi rank and about 300 yards ahead is the hotel (across a busy road but there are pedestrian crossings)
I've seen other comments about the expensive breakfast and expensive wifi, but I didn't use either so can't comment.
Overall, I'd use this place again when back on business or even for a weekend break, but if you are staying for a week, there are probaly more comfortable hotels.
