I agree with the previous reviewer, i myself visited Ludwigshafen on a school trip with a school from london and although i don't like to see myself as fussy, i didn't like it at all. Being a teenager, my mates and i were always trying to find ways of getting in contact with each other (the hallways were patrolled by teachers), we discovered that you could easily fit through the gap in between the wall which seperated the two room's balconies and the balconies railings itself. Also, the railings on th balcony were very low so not suitable for small children.

This must be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in . It is very basic and unwelcoming. It is also in a not very nice part of town, lots of dark street , groups of young men hanging about in dark under passes and next door to the railway station. There is no food at night in the hotel and nowhere to get food within walking distance if you dare to leave in the dark.
At breakfast next morning most of the other guests appeared to be building trade workers.

Not a pleasant experience especially for a woman on her own.
