Stayed at this hotel during a Trafalgar tour. This hotel is situated a few minutes from the city centre. It is in a square with a nice park in the middle, there are a number of eating establishments nearby. There are also shops nearby and a train station. The main lobby is not that big but is quite clean and tastefully decorated. The lifts are very slow, so it was easier and quicker to walk up even though we were on the fourth floor. As our tour guide checked us in, I had no contact with reception staff, but staff I encountered during the staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean and quite adequate, it did not have any views. A jug or coffee making provisions were not provided, but the room did contain a mini bar. There was free wifi internet available. The shower was quite strange as it was on the wall in the middle of the shower pointing out towards the bathroom so when you turned it on water comes straight out and floods the bathroom floor. There were also seven taps on the wall four down low and three up high, so you had to work out which one you needed for your water. The position the shower was in did not allow you to adequately stand under it, however you could take if off the wall to wash yourself. On the good side it did supply face washers which was the first hotel in 23 nights staying in hotels that did. We had dinner at the hotel and that was quite nice, however the breakfast was disappointing, not much choice and it did not look appetising, so we did not eat breakfast there. Overall I would stay here again, but only for a cheap rate.
