We have just come back from a short break at the Simonis, what a great hotel just off the motorway, yet in a quiet village. Rabbit,Branca and the others were such good hosts from the moment we arrived until the wave off on departure. Not a huge variety at meal times, but everything was tasty, hot and more to the point very acceptable and thats coming from a fussy eater. You would call the hotel rustic, a bit old fashioned but spotlessly clean and our room was huge. On the second evening we had a party night, Branca threw herself in to making it an evening to remember as part of a very good holiday. There were 48 of us in the group and everyone agreed to throw some money into a pot to buy some flowers for Rabbit and Branca, the ammount given was so generous were able to buy a bouquet and a very expensive silk flower creation, that says it all.

“Perfect Hosts for a Perfect Christmas”
The hotel is family run and on first sight was warm and cosy. We were welcomed by "Rabbit" the owner and his wife Branca who are from the former Yugoslavia. They were warm and friendly throughout our three night stay and very accomodating towards the 49 of us on the trip. We arrived on Christmas Eve. Our Christmas Evening Dinner was a great success, the dinner wasn't a grand event but very tasty and plenty of it. Every effort was made by the hosts to ensure everybody was happy and had enough food.
The rooms are basic but clean & warm. Perfectly situated for travelling and in a very quiet area. Fantastic!
