Like: Very good breakfast. Good choice and nice place to eat. Very friendly staff! The wifi is not for free, but not very expensive (about 3€/day), only a few minutes to downtown by foot, parking space behind the hotel (not for free!)
Dislike: I couldn't sleep any night... the first impression of the room was good (clean, nice), but there are the smalles beds i ever seen in a hotel. (about 1m x 2m). I have booked a 1 person room (a quiet one). So i got one at the highes level with two small beds. Better would be one queen or king bed. But this was not the biggest problem...
Every night it was very warm in the room, there is no air condition, so i opened to windows... a big mistake... straight in front of the hotel there is a big street, a highway, railway with big traffic all night long and a church where the bells are ringing very early.

Very good: Rooms are generous size, immaculately clean, modern, and comfortable, as is the bathroom.

Location is about a 10-15 minute walk through the main shopping area of the city to the center of Koblenz, further to the Deutsches Eck. Also, a short walk to the train station.

Breakfast was very nice with plenty of variety, hot and cold.

As long as it isn't summer, this is a very nice hotel in a convenient location with secure parking.

Not So Good: No A/C. If it's hot, this could be a problem as there is noise on the street with the windows open. However, even though the day was hot, the night was quite comfortable even without A/C.

Wireless internet is available for a modest 3 euro (but still not gratis as in many hotels). However, I could never maintain an internet connection in Room 333. I would pick up the connection in another part of the building, it would hold for a while after I returned to the room, but then would be lost and I could not reconnect with moving elsewhere in the building. In fairness, management promised to work on resolving the problem for future guests and did not charge me for the Internet.

The desk has a bench rather than a chair. After a while, no back to lean against made my back sore. A desk chair would be better.

Not sure this is a good value, as we paid 95 euro including breakfast. The Ibis two blocks away was 69 euro (but sold out for that night) without breakfast. Even so, that's a substantial difference. Of course, the Ibis rooms are quite small.

small room, but sufficiently equipped. cleanliness could improve. good staff. good breakfast if you do not arrive in the last half an hour (they do not renew the buffet as from 9.30 even if you complain) . good location, one street away from the best comercial area and city centre of koblenz. i paid 60 euros per night, which is fine for what i got slightly noise street for week-ends, if your window is at the front street

Myself, my partner and my parents stayed at Top Hotel Kraemer for two nights whilst visiting the christmas markets in Koblenz. What a wonderful hotel to stay at!

They are currently undergoing some refurbishment in the hotel and I'm sure when it is finished it will look suberb. We were lucky enough to have a refurbished room which was lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a great selection of meats etc. Location is great; about a 10 minute walk to the centre of Koblenz and only 5 minute walk from the train station.

All in all a great trip and I will definitely stay here again in the future!
