We got a very noisy room. No ventilation available but heating, opening a window turns the night in a noisy nightmare. Clean small basic room. Wifi not included. Parking extra. Cold welcoming, not cheerful staff, too bad, I stayed at other Ibis with over friendly staff. But they are present and will answer your needs. Did not try the 10 eur buffet breakfast as other options are available in the city. Recommended for a quick easy city visit but not for a long stay.

Booked the hotel in late autumn based on price and the good feedback I read and I and my family were not let down. We were let on at12 when the official check in was 3pm. The garage facilities while not ownedby the hotel were excellently located in the basement and good value at 6 euro the night. The hotel provided great access to to the city centre and old town. Lots of good restaurants close by. Not five star but good value for the price in an excellent location.

The wind whistling through the external balconies/fire escapes produced a low-level constant noise. However, once we realised what it was, it did not disturb our sleep. Apart from that minor quibble, he rooms and breakfasts were of the high standard we have come to expect from Ibis Hotels, and free internet access int he public area worked well. We were not interested in using any of the other services. Booking early on the interent, value-for money was good, but I would not want to pay the standard list price.

We stayed here in September 2010 and returned in December 2011. On both occasions we had a friendly and efficient welcome.

The hotel is in a great location; easy to get to by car and with an undercover car park too.

The rooms are comfortable and functional. Everything was clean and in good order.

Despite being situated on a busy junction the rooms are very quiet and we slept like logs!

I would give the breakfast a miss though as there are plenty of bakeries within a few mins walk which offer better choice for less money.

Koblenz city centre is about 5mins walk away with a fantastic choice of shops and restaurants
