“Knife Collectors Heaven!”

A great little hotel with the friendliest owners in existence. On the marktplatz so everything was handy. The Klingenmuseum was just up the stairway and they were extremely friendly and helpful as well. The Hubertus knife manufacturing facility was nearby and the owners gave us a personal tour of the shop area.

A ride to and from the train station in the owner's personal car made the beginning and end of our visit to Solingen-Grafrath as could as it possibly could be.

“Like comming home”

I visited the Hotel zur Post in May 2003 and it was like comming home.
The hotel is family runned and you feel like a member of it. The house is very historic but the rooms are modern equipped with everything you need and very clean. They have a great restaurant with local and international dishes. The owner and her son are there for you, whatever you need and the market place in front of the house is surrounded by many old houses. There are also many bars and restaurants in the nearest location. Very good connection to Duesseldorf and Cologne. My comment: Feel like comming home!
