We stayed for 2 nights, at fridaynight the tv didn't work and also the airco didn't, at saterdaynight when we came back from the love parade the didn't fix it, rooms are small, bathroom ok, only thing that was great was breakfast, this is not the NH that we know from other NH hotels, not a 4 star, 2-3 at least

Me and some friends spent a night at the NH Oberhausen on a Skiing trip to Bottrop. Impeccably clean, comfortable room, usual NH standard.
Location is as good as you can get in Oberhausen. Except for the train station there is not too much around.
Breakfast is great but sets you back €16. What is nice is that it's served from 6.00 till noon on Sundays, so you can freely decide whether you want to eat before you go to bed or after waking up:-)

Good location in the city center. Clean room and other areas. Parking available. Great, but expensive breakfast. Very quiet; didn't hear anything from the hallway or outside during the night.

Three of us stayed for two nights on a business visit. A great rate of EUR 79,00 each / night including an excellent breakfast buffet.

Car parking next door at the Kongress Center was an expensive EUR 14,00 / night.

The hotel is a modern 3+ star hotel with comfortable en-suite rooms, a good work desk and a separate dressing table. Limited hanger and shelf space but sufficient for a couple of nights.

Bathroom adequate and clean.

Bar / restaurant efficient. Competitively priced lunch / dinner menu had simple but well prepared dishes with generous portions.

Same-day laundry reasonably priced and efficient.

One complaint, and an important one - wireless and wired internet extensively advertised but did not work. Complaints to the front desk were met with shrugs.
