In July 2011 we staid for 1 night at the Friederike Hotel in Muehlheim for the Castle Rock-Festival.
My husband booked in advance a special room - and it was special! Though we had to go downstairs, we had a large room with an entrance hall and a super large bathroom. The room was simple, but with style ... It had a terrace with the next room, large tv, internet, a desk and a big cupboard (if you want to stay longer, there´s enough space ...). The room and the hotel itself were spotless clean, well organised, nicely furnished and decorated.
After the Rock-Festival we had some good sleep in our quiet room and a delicious breakfast buffet. The breakfast room is lovely, with view into the garden ...
The staff is very friendly, helpful and has a sense of humour (already when we booked our room, we had some fun...). We think, at that special weekend, the hotel was booked with Castle Rock-Fans ... but the other time - we guess - they will have business people.
Our stay was perfect and we plan to stay at the Friedrike again - for the Castle Rock Festival 2012 or when ever we visit Mühlheim.
