We stayed at the City Apart hotel in Dusseldorf for the Eurovision Song Contest in May.All the hotels in the area had doubled their prices so unfortunately the hotel did not represent value for money.
The staff on rececption are very friendly and helpful.We arrived at 9.30am and were able to leave our bags at the hotel.Our room was available at Midday as it had already been vacated.
We stayed in a room for 4 people which was located on the fourth floor (no lift) so I would not reccomend this hotel if you can't manage stairs.
The room had 2 single beds in the main room and 2 single beds in a seperate area through an alcove.The room was basic but clean.
The bathroom was again basic but very clean with a powerful shower.
The hotel was located 10 min walk from the train station and main shopping area.
Breakfast consisted of meats,cheeses,boiled and scrambled eggs,toast,bread rolls,4 cereals,sausages,tea,coffe and juices.All perfectly adequate.
If you are looking for a clean basic hotel in a good location,stay at the City Apart Hotel.

Basic clean room, plenty of cereals, cold meat salad fruit for breakfast. Staff very helpful,good shower, 10 minutes from main train station, city centre shopping.

hotel is near the rainstation and the city center. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast is fine, it's not elegant and a little bit humble but sure the services are good. Staff is kindly and help you if you need to find trains, buses and taxis!

You can moving in all the city just walking from here

Kind people (i had room changed after 4 days for street noising),minimaliste decor,no elevator,kitchinette,free room internet connection,excellent price.
