Hanseat is an old-fashioned place, the wifi is slightly dodgy, doesn't work in some rooms, and the service comes with a smile sometimes, and sometimes without a smile. But it's charming, it's got real personality. I would recommend it for a quick one nighter or two nighter.

I booked this hotel for one night for my boyfriend’s birthday treat. Although the hotel itself was a lovely, independent hotel with very friendly, polite and helpful staff in a very handy location, we were slightly disappointed with the room. It had no chandelier, and I had specifically asked for a nice room over looking the courtyard, which we did not get. All the same it was clean, smart and tidy, if a little small. Would recommend it, but specify exactly what you want!

We stayed in this little hotel for one night. We loved the classic style. In our room there were a lot of paintings and a chandelier. The badroom is small, but clean. Our room had a little separate working chamber. The staff could be more friendly in the morning; the breakfast buffet was't complete anymore at 10:30.
