Stayed here for several days in November 2011 for MEDICA conference. The staff couldn't have been any friendlier and accommodating. We only ate in the restaurant for breakfast and the food was yummy. One is given a large selection of cold cuts, cheeses, breads, pastries, cereals, eggs and bacon/sausages. The bar area is welcoming. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom. Thought the lobby and restaurant/bar is decorated very nicely, the actually sleeping room decor is a bit dated (reminded me of 80's beach furniture), but nothing that would deter me from staying there again for business or leisure travel. The hotel is located more in a neighborhood which was welcoming. My co-workers and I were able to easily explore the neighborhood as a local, we blended in until we spoke. 99% people speak English. There are several fantastic restaurants nearby (walking distance) as well as some great shops. We were greeted warmly at all the restaurants and shops we visited. WI-FI is available in the hotel, but you have to pay extra. They do have a very limited business center (just a computer and a printer) and it is in the lobby so no privacy. The bus/train stations are very close. Getting a taxi was no problem. TIP: Bring your own wash clothes and hair conditioner, they don't provide any (maybe it is a German thing).
