We , a family of three, have stayed at Lessing 3 times. The family rooms are spacious, breakfast is great and connection to airport easy with one S-bahn. Thumbs up!

Hotel Lessing is a family run hotel in a beautiful neighborhood which is convenient to all Dusseldorf has to offer. My son has been staying there since the beginning of June for the summer. They were negotiable in price for the long term stay. Breakfast is included as well free wireless internet and daily local bus tickets. They accept major credit cards. What makes this hotel so special is the generosity and kindness the hotel staff provides on a daily basis to keep their guests happy and comfortable. They arrange for transportation, laundry service, physicians if needed and are incredibly friendly and fun. the rooms are beautiful and larger than most small european hotels. This hotel is a real treat just outside the city center. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a quiet street which is closed on one side. You can walk to the city center in about 20-25 minutes but you can get a free day-pass for public transport. The rooms are large and comfortable and come with fast free WiFi. Breakfast is good and served on the top floor (with a view of rooftops). A large garage below the hotel gives save parking (not free)
