Am staying at this hotel now. Do not let the grand facade fool you. The interior of the hotel is very tired -- looks like it has not been updated in years. The room is fairly utilitarian and the TV is an old Phillips tube television likely 20 yrs or more. Depressing atmosphere, the hotel is just across the street from a major major construction site which also doesn't help.

The room was clean, but wireless is extremely expensive at 22 euro for just 24 hours (30 bucks!). The wireless doesn't maintain -- poor connectivity. The room as I walked in had the sound of running water through the pipes overhead, not sure why.

Would strongly suggest you select another hotel in Dusseldorf.

I stayed here for a short visit to Duesseldorf. The location is central. It is located in the most famous shopping street of Dusseldorf. The staff is professional, courteous, helpful and efficient. The room service was quick and punctual. the beds are very comfortable. However, I still feel for the price I paid the hotel could have been better.

Best location in Duesseldorf. Top quality hotel. Expensive but worth it. Staff hugely welcoming despite its high class setting and fittings. Large rooms. Walking distance to old town, but right on Koenigsalle for the best shopping in Germany provided you have a deep pockets.

I stayed in this hotel 3 times, never aigain. Every time there are something wrong.
First time they give the smallest room I ever seen, even to small for a little child.
Next time they called me the same day I arrived to confirm my booking, when I arrived the hotel was overbooked and the manager l was note there or he was hidding from the guests as usual.
This hotel could be one of the best in Dusseldorf, but they need new staff and managment. The main bar has been closed the past year.
