We just left the Park Inn hotel and I was glad to be leaving. Unfriendly and cold staff, no one helped us with our luggage, dirty carpet in the room, rust on the bathroom wall, extremely cold in the room (and not allowed to turn heating up). It was really not a good value, as for a few euros more we had an excellent stay at the Hyatt Regency in Koln. It is really too bad, as the hotel was close to the Xmas market, and the shops.

Stayed here 2 nights in late November on a business trip. Christmas market in Dortmund center in full swing, and just a block away. Good selection of restaurants within walking distance.

I had a single room, small but clean and functional. Good windows kept out street noise. Bed was Germanic hard which I like. Front desk staff friendly and helpful with all requests. Breakfast very good from a sprawling buffet. I would stay here again.

Stayed for one night here and it was a very good stay. The hotel is located in the city centre and close to shops and bars. The hotel was clean and the corner room we got was very big compared to other hotel rooms i have stayed in Europe. The airport was only a 20 minute bus ride away. Would stay here again for sure if i was to return to Dortmund.

This must be one of the best Park Inn hotels in Germany. Its location is ideal for exploring the city and doing the shopping. Getting to/from the airport is easy: bus 440 from the airport to Aplerbeck and then switch to U47 and get off at Stadtpark. From there, it is a 3-minute walk to the hotel.

The check-in was a bit slow, but very friendly. The room was big, clean and had relatively new furniture. Several rooms share big terrace, which may be a nice place to hang out during warm sunny days. On the other hand, if you wish some privacy, make sure to keep curtains closed. The bathroom was clean; however there is no heating from the radiator and instead there are heating lamps (that worked fine).

The breakfast was great and ample, with sekt and an impressive choice of cold cuts, warm dishes, pastry and drink. It was included into the rate we paid, but even if we had not, it would be been worth every cent. There is also room service and mini fitness studio open till 23:00. While it is not big, but has everything for a quick workout.

Overall, a very nice experience.
